Just feed him an algae wafer that sinks to the bottom and he should be fine.

Plecos and otos both need to be supplemented because there usually isn’t enough algae to suffice.
I recommend sliced zucchini, algae wafers, or well rinsed, canned sliced green beans. Virtually all omnivorous fish love the beans.

Couldn’t you just have named it Bigfoot?

they like to suck on drift wood and they also get alot of vvitaminsand minerals out of it... just watch your ph ,wood in an aquarium could make ph drop

Feed him sinking algae wafers and/or sinking shrimp pellets, zucchini, spinach, lettuce, basically any green food.

And what kind of "sucker fish" do you have? Most Plecos grow over a foot long, and a Chinese Algae Eater will grow up to a foot long. And as CAE’s grow, they lose their algae-eating ability and attack fish instead.

I don't know which particular suckerfish you are referring to, but you can try getting some of those sinking algae wafers. When I had plecos, they liked them very much.
